NOTE: The
Beach Boys have been as prolific in the solo output as in their group
efforts. Dennis Wilson was the first to release a solo album
from
within the Beach Boys, although future member Bruce Johnston also had
some albums out before he joined The Beach Boys. Of the band
members, Brian Wilson has been the most prolific, and acclaimed, Mike
Love has had the most unreleased material, Carl Wilson's solo efforts
have been sadly overlooked, David Marks has languished outside the
spotlight, and Al Jardine has been the least visible.
Although less consistent in their solo output, there is much
good
