Here's Al with Adam Marsland's Chaos Band singing "California Saga" from just last year. Very cool!

You may remember a while ago that I posted a video of someone named "troubleclef" playing "Caroline, No" on his guitar. Well, now he has a version of "God Only Knows". I just wanted to add it here since he's such a good guitar player.

And here's the clip from the US version of Whose Line Is It Anyway where Wayne and Chip improvise a Beach Boys style song.

Someone named "Cipresso2003" has uploaded a bunch of concert footage, mostly from the 80's. Here's some highlights:

"Sail On, Sailor" from 1995. Carl on lead.

"Forever" from 1988. Again, Carl on lead. Oddly enough, John Stamos is on drums.

A cover of John Lennon's "Imagine" from 1983. Mike on lead, and I think he sounds pretty good.

"Runaway" from the 1983 Seattle concert (the note says it was the last pro-shot concert of all 6 Beach Boys).

Cipresso2003 and SmilingDutchman have been uploading a lot of interesting stuff lately. Here's some of the quirkier stuff.

Remember "The New Leave it to Beaver"? Well, here's a clip with Brian playing a teacher. (Mr Hawthorn. Get it?) Think he wrote that song?

And here's the opening to Troop Beverly Hills with the alternate version of "Make it Big". The animation is by John Kricfalusi of Ren & Stimpy fame. This was posted some months, but it got removed, probably due to legal reasons. SmilingDutchman seems to be skating on thin ice again.

Here's a strange clip. It's footage from a 1988 Disney Forth of July TV special. First, there's a performance of "Wipe Out." First thing I noticed was that there seem to be six Beach Boys on stage, but there's no Brian. The extra two are apparently John Stamos and (I think) Jeff Foskett. Next, I noticed that the backing track and vocals are canned, and The Fat Boys' rapping is the only thing that's actually live.

Next, The Beach Boys sing "Kokomo," totally canned, but it appears that the footage was the basis for the music video. Interesting.

Jasper Eich has posted a few clips of the Boys in London 1968. Not sure what this is from, but it's interesting.

Here's Brian in 1976 singing "I'm Bugged At My Old Man" with Carl and Denny on backup. I like this clip because it looks like they're just having fun in the studio.
